Its packaging is the same as 10G SFP+, supporting backward compatibility for smooth network upgrades.
The 25Gb SFP optical module is a high-speed module used for interconnecting 25G Ethernet with data center servers and switches. It is packaged in SFP28 and has a speed of 25.78Gbps. 10g sfp+ transceiver can be inserted into SFP28 ports, which will automatically "slow down" to 10Gbps to match the SFP+ transceiver, and the link will operate normally at a rate of 10G. On the contrary, it is not possible.
