MPO Conversion Cable Fanout Customization Guide

For MPO breakout cable, there is an MPO connector at one end, and the other end is another types of fiber connector like SC LC FC ST. There is usually a plastic or aluminum breakout kit in the middle to divide one fiber into multi-fibers 2mm or 3mm loose tubes, thus replacing multi-channel patch cords and saving wiring space and time.

If the standard shape of the breakout kits cannot meet your needs, Yingda can customize breakout kits: round, flat, irregular, etc.

The fan out Length can also be determined according to the customer’s project: within rack wiring is usually 5 meters, and inter rack wiring is recommended to be over 1 meter.

MPO Breakout Cable Buying FAQ

The general rule is that optical modules are typically connected with female MPO receptacle without pins, while patch panels or cassette modules usually use MPO male connectors with pins.

We can provide USCONEC's MTP, SENKO's MPO, or INNO's MPO connectors. If the customer does not specify, it will be made in China type by default
