The 100G BIDI single fiber transceiver belongs to the 100G QSFP28 Single Labda (single wave) BiDi long distance optical module. It adopts 100G PAM4 high-order modulation technology, which can transmit 100G at a single wavelength instead of splitting 100G into 4 channels of 25G (4xLWDM), representing a more advanced and simplified single core transmission scheme.
Bidirectional principle: In a core fiber, one end uses 1304nm emission (the other end receives), and the other end uses 1309nm emission (the other end receives). These two wavelengths are very close and both are located in the O-band low dispersion region.
