QSFP28 100G DWDM Transceiver ZR4 80km, with EDFA + DCM device, ITU-T 100GHz or 50GHz C Band 1528nm – 1565nm wavelength, PAM4, Dual CS adaptors

This QSFP28 PAM4 DWDM transceiver is a 100G DWDM QSFP28 remote solution. It is different from the ZR4, which is a “direct connection type”, while 100G DWDM transceiver is a “system type” module that must be paired with external devices such as EDFA and DCM to run 80 kilometers. It use PAM4 modulation technology, operating in C-Band (1528nm-1565nm),supporting standard ITU-T 100GHz or 50GHz channel spacing means that one fiber can run dozens of 100G channels. If you want to run 8, 16, or even more 100G channels on this fiber, DWDM PAM4+EDFA+DCM is the only option.

Application

  • Data Center Interconnection (DCI): Connect data centers within a distance of 80 kilometers to achieve pooling of computing resources;
  • City Area Access and Aggregation: 5G fronthaul/middlehaul, interconnection of city area edge nodes;
  • DWDM Backbone Network Filling: Add 100G channels to the existing DWDM system.
