QSFP 100G CWDM4 Single Mode Fiber Module 10km over G.652D SMF, CWDM4 Wavelength 1271, 1291, 1311, 1331 nm, 2 Cores Dual LC Receptacle

This QSFP28 CWDM transceivr is commonly referred to as 100G CWDM4-L (L stands for Lite or Long Reach), which is an enhanced version of the standard CWDM4 (2km). It uses a better performing EML laser (rather than cheap DML) and a more sensitive receiver (sometimes integrated with APD detector) to support a link loss of 10 kilometers, mainly to fill the distance gap between 2km and 20km. At the same time, due to the use of NRZ modulation, it is more compatible than single wave PAM4 modules and has lower requirements for switch processing capabilities. As it is not an official standard of IEEE, but an extension scheme defined by the CWDM4 MSA Alliance, special attention should be paid to firmware compatibility with switch brands when purchasing.
