SFP+ 1Gb Bidirectional SFP module 1km is a single mode transceiver over multimode fiber,which is a very unique gigabit “special” single fiber bidirectional SFP module. It achieves a transmission distance of 1 km by simultaneously using two wavelengths of 1310nm and 1550nm for transmission and reception on a multimode fiber 50/125um OM3, making it an ideal solution to save short distance fiber resources.

In the optical communication industry, the vast majority of single fiber multimode SFP module using 1310nm/1550nm wavelength pairing are SMF SFP module. And this one is a short distance customized version specifically designed for the renovation project of existing old multimode fiber (MMF).
