The 10G BIDI transceiver ethernet is a 10Gb SFP+ module designed to conserve fiber resources by compressing a traditional 10G link requiring two fibers into just one. It is ideal for network scenarios with limited fiber capacity but urgent need for 10G upgrades. Although slightly more costly than standard dual-fiber modules and requiring paired deployment, it offers the highest cost-effectiveness in fiber-scarce environments.
