It enables transmission distances up to 40 km on single-mode fiber, representing a significant improvement over the standard 1000BASE-LX/LH (10 km), making it an ideal choice for metropolitan area networks and campus backbone interconnections.

This SFP 1.25G 1310nm 40km module strictly complies with the SFP MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) and IEEE 802.3z standards, utilizing a DFB laser and high-sensitivity PIN photodetector. It comes with standard DDM/DOM features, supporting remote real-time monitoring of optical transceiver status
