SFP-10G-ER-1310 is an enhanced module SFP 10G 40km that uses a 1310nm wavelength and supports 40 km transmission. It is also one of the few 1310nm ER wavelength versions on the market. It fills the gap between standard LR (10km) and 1550nm ER (40km), and is suitable for network scenarios that require high dispersion tolerance or compatibility with specific devices.
Special background: The standard 10GBASE-R specification typically uses a wavelength of 1550nm to achieve lower fiber attenuation. But some early devices or specific application scenarios require the 1310nm SFP 10GER 31 module, so a few manufacturers (especially Huawei) provide this non-standard version.

  • Connect different campuses such as university towns, technology parks, and hospital groups that are 40km apart.
