SFP-1.25G-BX120 is a 10 100 1000BASETX SFP transceiver types 120km,which use BIDI technology, supporting 120km ultra long distance transmission, and is one of the farthest transmission solutions in gigabit Ethernet. It uses two different wavelengths for transmission and reception on a single fiber optic cable, saving 50% of fiber optic resources compared to traditional dual fiber solutions.

It is the core choice for urban backbone networks, cross regional data center interconnection, and long-distance fiber optic resource shortages. The 1490nm/1510nm BIDI combination is not a standard configuration, and the more common long-distance gigabit solution is 1490nm/1550nm; If there is a genuine need, be sure to check the specification sheet and confirm the wavelength cross pairing relationship between the two end 1Gbps SFP modules when making a purchase.
