The QDD 400G ER4 30 Lite is a “lightweight” long-distance optical module designed specifically for distances of 25 to 35 kilometers. It has the same technical architecture as the standard ER4 (both are 4-channel 100G PAM4), but balances power budget and cost. Unconditionally it support 30km on standard G.652 single-mode fiber, but at a lower cost.

  • Cost-sensitive projects: Replace the expensive standard ER4 on 40km links with better link quality (lower loss).
