MTRJ Fiber optic adapters are mainly used for connecting and fixing MTRJ fiber optic connectors, allowing optical signals to be transmitted with minimal insertion loss. The connection method of MT-RJ adapter is different from that of SC adapter. SC connector uses ceramic sleeve to precisely align the plug of the connector, while MT-RJ adapter and MPO adapter use two guide holes with a diameter of 0.7mm on the left and right of the MT-RJ connector plug end face and guide pins (also known as PIN pins) for precise connection. Therefore, MT-RJ adapter and MPO adapter are not classified as single or multi-mode. MT-RJ adapters and MPO adapters are widely used in communication system base stations, optical distribution frames (ODFs) in building computer rooms, communication equipment, and various testing instruments.
